Understanding how your hearing affects your everyday life helps us tailor the hearing test to you and determine which other tests are appropriate.
We’ll test the softest sounds you can hear across a range of pitches to build a detailed picture of your hearing. We may also assess how clearly you can understand speech.
Your hearing test results are plotted on an audiogram and explained to you in plain language, so you understand what we've found and what it means for you.
Your hearing test and assessment will also include examining your ears and testing how your eardrum and middle ear are functioning. Tympanometry can help identify problems such as middle-ear fluid, pressure changes or other conditions that may be affecting your hearing.
Once we've completed the assessment, we'll explain the results and discuss any recommended next steps with you.

Yes. We provide hearing assessments for children aged 6 years and over. We’ll select appropriate tests based on your child’s age, hearing concerns and individual needs.
